White

Hello everyone, Angela is finally discharged from hospital today! BUT why is Angela so sad, she doesn't know either, perhaps it was the hospital food, perhaps it was the dread of school, perhaps the loss of slothful days. I need a break so badly

At first I thought they weren't coming, but they turned up, Hanee, Sinyi and VC Thank you dear friends it totally brought a BIG SMILE to my face :-D and not forgetting dear Shuying who always listened to my sobbing and heaving voice through the phone. I will thank all of you sincerely with cards:-)

In the hospital
That first night,

The doctor mumbled softly to the nurse after my checkup, I could catch the words 'typhoid..malaria' as they turned and looked at me gravely. He informed me that within forty hours, if the fever doesn't subside, antibiotics would have to be injected into my body. The cart was pushed away and I was left in the dark ward, I wore three layers of clothing, wrapped myself up with three layers of blankets, yet the room was as chilling as the poles. Cold tears fell. M did not give me a call. It was 9.30p.m. The nurse brought me to a room for a blood test. No, it wasn't painful. She told me not to cry kindly. I gave up thoughts of sleeping with a blocked nose, I would end up suffocating and waking up. I could not eat half of the dinner provided by the hospital. I looked more like a nurse than a child patient. I was forced to wear a teddy bear outfit with baggy pants.

The second night, M brought me down for supper cause I was hungry but when I got down, I could not get myself to eat anything. Not even the round bread. Not even the soup noodles. Not even anything. The sight of everything was enough to make me puke. M scolded me and I was scolded her too. At last I forced myself to buy two sandwiches. We went back upstairs and I told her I actually wanted to eat the soup noodles. We were friends again. AND THE KOPITIAM WAS CLOSED. I enjoyed eating the sandwiches but it worsened my sore throat.

I don't wanna get back to school oh dear

Patient No. 06418764 needs to rest now
